Family Boost
FamilyBoost NZ is a government subsidy helping families with the cost of early childhood education. Eligible households can claim up to 25% of ECE fees—up to $975 every three months. Visit the IRD website to learn more and apply.
Plunket
Plunket is a charity and Aotearoa’s largest support service for the health and wellbeing of tamariki under-five and their whānau. They offer free health and development checks, a 24/7 parenting helpline, and a range of local services.
If you’re eligible, WINZ may subsidise up to nine hours of childcare per week for each child. If you’re working or in training, you could qualify for up to 50 hours of subsidised care per week in some cases. WINZ manages the childcare subsidy, and full details are available on their website. We also have copies of the application form available at our centre—feel free to visit us to pick one up.

Healthline
Healthline is a free over-the-phone health service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you or someone in your family is unwell, you can call Healthline and speak to experienced nurses and paramedics for health advice and information about what to do next.

20 Hours Free
Our Early Learning Centres provide 20 hours of free Early Childhood Education (ECE) each week for enrolled children aged three to five. This covers up to six hours per day, with a total of 20 hours per week. Get in touch with us to learn more.
Manuka Cottage
Manuka Cottage is in the heart of Addington and is a community centre that encourages people to join in and connect with one another, have a cuppa and participate in the many activities, groups and projects.
